Drawing teabags

So in my attempt to stop drinking coffee I have lots of tea bags around.
I love drawing tea bags. Very odd I know.
So I am still trying to figure out how all the artists I look at seem to be able to just draw with pen and make it look perfect. Here is another attempt by me to do that.

Perfection is not as important as having character. And I can see you love of teabags. Great job!

I think the key to this pen thing is to have faith that the "errors" you make are actually adding something of yourself to the image. They aren't perfect drawings, I bet, but you read them as perfect because they are perfect in their imperfections.

I love a loose pen drawing that is it's own thing, not just a representation of an object. it's living.

I think we are more critical of our own work than that of others. If you went to another blog and saw these pics you'd say, "hey, those are good tea bags" but you are looking at your own work and saying "mmm, I goofed on this line and that one is too fat and...". Am I right?? I do it too as well as probably most of us. You DID do a good job.
