Another drawing of the big guy

So this cat's mom handed him off to a young girl at the show. He was very patient about all this. I am sorry that I didn't put the camera down long enough to hold him.

Big Guy

The owner of this guy said he weighs about 22 pounds. He is a Maine Coon cat but his markings looked more like some sort of wild cat. I always wanted a Maine Coom because they are supposed to look like racoons. What I really want is a racoon which isn't going to happen.

Okay, this is one of my favorites. I think I keep saying that but I really like this one. I like that there was an extra surprise from the photo. When I took the picture I was focusing quickly on the cat and the proud cat mama and when I downloaded the picture the boy looking at the cat was a bonus. His picture is below. He looks like someone from the Addam's Family? No?

Cat show series

This is the first in a series of drawings that I will be doing from photos that I took at a small cat show in Portland, Oregon the weekend of January 25th. I am less than pleased with this drawing. I was trying something new and don't care for how it turned out. The first series of drawings are of kids who are learning to show their cats so they show them and answer questions.
