February 2009 Overview-Thursday's drawing

February was a mixed bag. My favorite drawings were done from photos that I took at a cat show. My biggest regret was doing these drawings in a moleskine sketchbook instead of on paper. By scrolling through the month you can see them. I didn't want to draw them again so my overview drawing is actually of some cats I didn't draw the first time around.

Cat show series

This is the first in a series of drawings that I will be doing from photos that I took at a small cat show in Portland, Oregon the weekend of January 25th. I am less than pleased with this drawing. I was trying something new and don't care for how it turned out. The first series of drawings are of kids who are learning to show their cats so they show them and answer questions.
