The closet beastie has a very small pocket size copy of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. It is 5 inches by 3 3/4 inches. He mostly hides it in his pocket but he occasionally asks me to read it to him. This book recently had its 40th birthday! Happy Birthday to the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

One of my grandson's favorite books - I love Eric Carle's work. I'm so impressed Leigh that you manage to sketch almost every day - something I haven't been disciplined enough to do!
