Challenge #89 Buttons

I am not very happy with the results today. I feel like I am in a drawing rut. I did a lot of this in pencil first then used colored pencils, fine line markers, and a bit of water color pencil. the bright yellow and bright orange backgrounds are water color brush pens from jet pens (jetpens.com).

It is very nice page. I love the "Button Button". Maybe you just did not take the time you wanted.
Very free and warming touch!

I can relate to your feelings! Not every day will be a success in your own mind and heart but you will learn from it. A friend of mine told me recently to detach a little from my immediate reactions to other situations and to watch myself reacting. So I tried it with my reaction to my own work. It really really helped me not to "feel so badly" or get down with the frustration. In turn, this has increased my delight in what I am doing. Danny Gregory's book Creative License deals with this topic nicely...I got it from the library. Keep going! Your soul is shining through in all your work and what else matters in my mind!

Some days are better than orthers, but the important thing is that you continue your drawing everyday and that is a great job.
