I'm glad to see you posted your cherries! And your pig poses are great! I like the different views and colored boxes. I'm also trying to draw more people...I like the framing that you did.
What an interesting compilation of beautiful pages. I am leaving my leather bounded journal which I sketch/draw on all the time with my Fiancee, and I'll work on my Moleskine when I get back to Germany.
Hi Leigh, the cherry juice painting idea is great. I've read about people painting with coffee, chocolate and tea, but yours is the first cherry drawing I see. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I didn't notice the first time on your profile that your favorite movie is Until the End of the World, it is my favorite too!
Hi Leigh, Tory told me about your blog. I love that you used cherry juice to paint your background! Good pigs rear shot made me laugh-thanks for the lift :)
I started this blog to improve my drawing skills. I drew every day and posted a drawing a day from August 1, 2008 to July 31, 2009. I hope to continue my daily drawing practice but will probably only post once a week.

Fun pages - I especially like the pig and the checkerboard design you used to define the frames.
Very nice Leigh, I also love the pigs and always the moleskine sketching of people.

Lovely, luscious cherries. The background is perfect!
Love the pigs! Your journal pages are great.
Leigh, I really like the little pigs drawn several different ways. This is a great technique.

Leigh,
These are wonderful, interesting and funny. A celebration of a day in life. Making the mundane extraordinary.
